- No. You don’t make enough because you are spending too much time on non-revenue generating tasks
- Plan to make less for the first 1-3 months of your first hire
Why don’t we hire?
- Intimidated (imposter syndrome) - remember you don’t have to be an expert to hire people. Hire people that are better than you!
- Don’t want to be the “boss”
- Don’t want to be responsible for other people - bring people on in a limited way at first
- Don’t earn enough - this will be resolved if you hire the right people
- Too much work - never let yourself get past 70-80% capacity before you start hiring
How to find good people to hire?
